Negotiations are set to begin for employees working at CAE. The negotiations committee held a general information meeting on March 10th and conducted a strike vote on March 10th and 11th. A questionnaire asking for inputs into the next contract has been provided to union members. The committee would like all inputs by April 8, 2019 so the work on the draft proposal can be finalized in time for negotiations.
Negotiations begin on April 22, 2019 with the vote to ratify the contract tentatively set for April 27, 2019. The current contract is set to expire on May 15, 2019.
